VOL_01 / 2026 Action

The public should be in the room. Here is the room.

AIPIA Action is the civic infrastructure that lets people participate in AI-governance comment periods, open letters, and policy processes — coordinated, evidence-based, and on the record.

What you can do

Three lanes. All on the record.

Each AIPIA Action lane is built around a specific civic act — and each one creates evidence that lasts beyond the moment.

A.01
Comments

Coordinated comment campaigns

When a federal agency or state body opens a public comment period on AI policy, AIPIA Action provides a vetted template, a personalization step, and a one-click filing path through regulations.gov — with a 15-minute recall window before submission.

  • Editorial-reviewed comment templates per docket
  • Member personalization with explicit authorization
  • Platform-filed via API, or self-filed via deep link
  • Per-member submission receipts and audit log
A.02
Letters

Open letters to decision-makers

Sign-on letters to agencies, legislatures, and companies. Each letter is editorial-only — drafted, reviewed against a three-filter standard, and published as a single artifact. Members sign once; the at-submission count is frozen on the day the letter is delivered.

  • Three-filter editorial review (accountability ask, public-interest framing, policy lever)
  • Per-signature opt-in for organization affiliation display
  • Submission snapshot frozen at delivery
  • Public letter archive with full signature record

Alerts

Jurisdiction-aware action alerts

Sign up once and get notified when an AI-governance comment period opens in a docket relevant to your state, district, or professional domain. Sourced from GovScan, our tracker of AI-governance decisions across federal, state, supranational, and standards bodies.

  • Member jurisdiction resolved via zip code (Google Civic API)
  • Weekly, monthly, or per-event alert cadence
  • Direct links to live campaigns and open letters
  • Public action accountability log per member

Live letters and open comment periods.

This list updates from AIPIA Action's editorial workbench. Nothing here is auto-generated — every artifact passed editorial review before going live.

How it works

Editorial, not automated. Verified, not viral.

H.01

Editorial review

Every letter and campaign passes a three-filter review: it must name a specific accountability ask, frame the public-interest stake clearly, and identify the actual policy lever in play. Posts that don't pass all three don't ship.

H.02

Member authorization

Members read the exact text they're authorizing — letter body, comment text, organizational affiliation choice — before signing or filing. A 15-minute recall window opens before any platform-filed comment is sent.

H.03

On-the-record artifact

Every letter has a frozen at-submission signature count. Every comment has a regulations.gov confirmation number. Every member can show what they filed, when, and why. The work is auditable end-to-end.

Sign up when the public flow opens. For now, watch the work.

Member registration opens once AIPIA's fiscal sponsor is in place. In the interim, follow the manifesto, the catalog, and the counter-party tracker.
